Wholesome tenets of life are subtly revealed to the reader as the characters share camping, hunting, scouting and trapping adventures on, in and around Indian Creek while probing the wonders of nature. Worthy activities are intermixed with schoolwork, girls, and pets. His varied experiences give him an insight into human behavior that not many possess. Devotion to the improvement of life for all children is his guiding principal. He lives with his wife in Muskegon, Michigan. They have three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
