It is not the memorization of useless information. It is not merely studying for an exam. Learning involves asking the right questions and coming up with a solution using curiosity and reason. The reason so many students hate learning is due to past experience. Learning does not have to be boring. It can be fun if approached in the right way. In the book, we discuss how to learn using reason. We discuss how reason operates and what it consists of. We discuss two approaches to using reason: top-down and bottom-up- the latter is as also called reverse engineering. We discuss examples of where and how we can use each approach. We also discuss how students should approach reading textbooks and studying using reverse engineering. Throughout the book we discuss various questions related to education. What kind of education should we provide to our children and why? What kinds of improvements do we need in education? How can we improve the quality of lectures that our children receive?
